Eamon and Liam Hetherington co-founded GPD in 2000, continuing a family tradition of established builders since the 1930s. Over the years we have grown the company and built up a reputation for carrying out our work to the highest standard of finish.

 

We are experienced in the field of new builds and are proud of our reputation in this area.  We at GPD know that whatever building or renovation project you have in mind, be it large or small, it is important to you. We take time to listen carefully to what you want. We also take on the responsibility of fulfilling your wishes and giving you all the advice, guidance, and support that you may need.

Management

Liam Hetherington

Director

Liam has been immersed in the construction industry for over 30 years. Having worked across the UK and Ireland, his expertise was built on delivering complex and large-scale projects within the commercial and residential sectors, including Housing Association schemes and 300+ housing developments. Liam co-founded GPD in 2000 and is directly involved in private and public sector tender oversight and the overall development of major project in support of client and design team needs.

Eamon Hetherington

Director

Eamon has over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, working for extended periods in the USA and within Ireland before co-founding GPD in 2000, which has earned a place in the top 10% of construction companies with respect to safety management. Eamon leads GPD promotion, new business development, partner development and contract negotiation and works with all stakeholders ensuring delivery of all large and small-scale projects across the commercial, hospitality, clean room environment and residential sectors.

Diane Hogan

Senior Administrator

Diane has 2 decades of experience in the construction industry and has been with GPD since 2012 leading full compliance and document control practices for all tender activity and projects as well as procurement, registrations, annual audits and re-certifications to industry standards.

Bryan Hogan

Contracts & Project Manager

Bryan is Contracts & Projects Manager with GPD since 2017. With close to 30 years’ experience in the industry, Bryan is expert and fully engaged in delivering Multi-Unit New Builds, Retrofit /Refurbishment, Commercial, Local Authority and Thermal Efficiency Upgrade projects.
